Motril
is situated midway between Málaga, Granada
and Almería. The house is 3Km. outside the town of Motril
and 3Km. from the beach. It is built in the traditional style
of a rustic farm and has accomodation for 25. Being on
the side of a hill 80 metres above sea level there is a good
view is of the Guadalfeo river valley and surrounding
mountains where there are many flying sites. Sitting in
typical Spanish countryside it is idealy suited for access to
more than 40 flying sites, all within an hours drive. The
QNH is 80 metres.
We are on the "Costa del Sol", halfway between Malaga
and Almeria, 60km south of Granada city. Some of the
important local places are Almunecar 10 mins, La Herradura 20 mins, Alpujarra/Orgiva
30mins, Nejar 40 mins. This puts us in the middle of all the best flying areas
of the Costa Tropical, with good roads for fast access.

Casa
de Alfacar
QNH1.000m This too is perfectly situated for the keen flyer. The house sits
at the foot of a mountain, midway between our private take-off and the landing
ground. This area is designated as a National Park and we are the only flyers
permitted access. The house has all the comforts and hospitality of a typical
Spanish mountain village. There is accommodation for 17. The take-off is visible
from the house and thus it is possible to gauge the weather conditions on the
mountain before setting off. We can ofert 17 beds.
